On Friday, December 11th from 6-7PM, we will gather on Zoom for an hour of looking back at the year and finding hope as we look ahead.
Our evening will include:
A new video highlighting moments and stories from 2020
A live word from our Founder, Andrew Oliver
Special performances by individuals from our community
Time to connect with community members in small groups
A time of toasts and raising a glass together as we look ahead to 2021!
Let's face it, this year has been difficult, disorienting, and tiring for all of us. It's heartbreaking to witness this darkness in how the crisis disproportionately affects those on the margins.
When the pandemic hit New York City in March, Do For One’s vision forward has been that although our culture's values have been exposed – they are also shaken and movable – and we are being given an opportunity to stitch a new garment. It is through the unwavering acts of love carried out by Do For One advocates and community friends that we are driving out the darkness.
We are weaving a tapestry of light for all to see.
