The mayor of New York City has called for Sunday March 14th to be an official Day of Remembrance marking one year since the first loss of life in NYC from COVID.
Hope Astoria, together with our sister Hope Churches, will be joining this effort to honor the nearly 30,000 New Yorkers who have died in the past 12 months. We'll also be remembering meaningful spaces that have closed, and honoring those who have served us all.
Come by the Hope Central Ministry Center at 109 East 31st Street, NY, NY 10016 this Sunday afternoon (Mar 14th) from 1-3pm and experience Hope's interactive outdoor exhibit to commemorate the lost and honor those who have served our city in this difficult time.
Or if you are unable to attend in person, please share your memories and hopes via this form and your words will be added to our memorial wall:
