Perpetual Felicity

  • NYU Catholic Center (map)

October 17&18 @ 7:30pm @ NYU Catholic Center; $25 tickets
In Carthage 203 A.D., nursing noblewoman Perpetua and pregnant slave Felicity are imprisoned for their Christian faith. The two form a powerful bond as they await execution--singing songs, braiding each other's hair, and together receiving spiritual visions from the God they are determined to trust. A true story of African saints, retold in this original play. Amy Pan and Danielle Cummings wrote it inspired by a Hope Astoria sermon! Part of the Arthouse2B New Works festival.Tickets at tinyurl.com/PerpetualFelicity25
