Andrew Oliver will share his personal story of how the ministry came to be. We'll discuss the many unwarranted fears and assumptions that people have about disability and how that often leads to segregation and loss of control for those with disabilities. It is through this deep reflection of the situations of devalued people that we can develop an understanding of Do For One and a relationship-centric model. Additionally, info sessions are a great place to connect with others who may be passionate or curious about serving this marginalized population. 

This session will include special guest Jerry Robinson! He will share about how he got from living at Willowbrook State School to a full life of inclusion in Brooklyn, NY.
