As an extension of the Church, Do for One gatherings bridge the gap between our neighbors affected by disability and those who are better connected to vibrant communities. We will have a meal, play icebreaker games, and get to know each other through facilitated conversations. Come meet your Astoria and Roosevelt Island neighbors and learn what it looks like when all of us (disabled or not) share our time, talent, and resources to the benefit of everyone. We'll be gathering on Friday, September 14th from 6:30pm - 9pm at 625 Main Street, Westview Community Room (on Roosevelt Island).
