The needs of our neighborhood, our city, and the world are continuously growing. The teachings of Jesus show us the immeasurable freedom and abundant life we experience as we give to those in need and commit ourselves to a kingdom culture of generosity. The scriptures say that God loves a cheerful giver, not because the church's needs are met, nor because God needs our money to move His Kingdom forward, but because God's heart is made glad when we depend on Him to provide for us.

Each year we come together as a community to give to causes above and beyond our normal giving. This holiday season (from now through Saturday, December 14th), we're looking to raise $90,000 to give away to some great causes. During our Sunday Worship Gathering, we invite people in our community (if you're a newcomer, please don't feel obligated!) to make a financial gift. There are envelopes available for those who would like to give cash gifts for tax-exemption. Checks can be made out to “Hope Astoria Vineyard Church.”
