Saturday, August 28th, 2 hr shifts 12-6:30pm.

We've been invited to participate and join in Ravenwood's Community Annual Family Day! This is a festive event where the community comes together in a fun celebratory manner, and given the grief, isolation & loss of the past 15 months, our honorable host also views this moment as a space for the healing of the community.

We are grateful that they want us to join in the healing. We will have a table showing the love of God, connecting with our neighbors and giving away backpacks and school supplies for children. We are looking for volunteers that can either help transport the supplies to the location or volunteer on 2-hour shifts from 12 to 630 PM. You are also welcome to just come and enjoy the event to connect with your fellow Queens neighbors. The event is located outside in the main circle of the Ravenswood housing area on 36th Avenue right before 21st street.
