A destructive, 7.2-magnitude earthquake that struck southwest Haiti on August 14 has left more than 1,400 people dead and thousands more families homeless, with the Caribbean nation and ancestral home of many Queens residents now facing a lengthy recovery process. If you are able, we welcome you to contribute to our Haiti Relief Donation Drive to assist those who survived the quake.

For the first 3 Sundays in September (5th, 12th, & 19th), we will have a large box in the first floor lobby to receive donations of the items listed below.

DONATIONS NEEDED

• Personal Hygiene Items (soap, toothbrushes/toothpaste, shampoo, feminine hygiene products, etc.)

• Non-perishable Food (baby food, canned goods, etc.) and bottled water
