Reflections on The Pandemic

On Sunday, March 12th we will create space to reflect and pray as we mark the 3rd anniversary of the start of the pandemic in NYC.  The NYC COVID-19 Day of Remembrance is March 14th, and during this season we want to especially remember the more than 45,000 NYC residents who passed during the pandemic, and pray also for their loved ones who miss them.

To honor those we have lost and to help us reflect on the pandemic season, we are creating a contemplative space in Room 1-11 (back left classroom on the first floor).  We welcome you to visit this space after either first or second service (open from right after first service, 11:30am until 2:30pm).  To help us enter in, the space will feature art by a local artist made during the early days of the pandemic (thank you to R. Hervas).  We welcome you to take part in this space to reflect, pray, and meet with the Lord.  All are welcome, and if you have any questions, please contact Donal (donal@hopechurchnyc.org).
