This year our church is engaging in a Lenten Fast as a community from Wednesday, March 5th through Saturday, April 19th.  We hope one and all will join us in intentionally engaging in the practices of fasting and prayer during this special season.  On Easter Sunday, April 19th we'll break our fast and celebrate together our resurrected Lord! 

During this time, we fast and pray not because we seek God’s hand to accomplish something for us and not to earn his love. Indeed, God loves us to the utmost already - as he showed us on the cross!  Rather, we deny ourselves in fasting and we engage intentionally in prayer, because we desire to train our hearts to focus on God before everything else.
