On Monday March 26th @ 7:30pm, Hope Church and Do For One has reserved Village East cinemas to enjoy a beautiful film together. Jean Vanier is a well-known author and philosopher, known for such books as "From Brokenness to Community" and "Becoming Human." He is the founder of L'Arche, a community for people with disabilities, a commune at the edge of a beautiful forest near Paris. A quiet revolution was born and there are now L'Arche communities all over the world. The film, "Summer in the Forest" explores the life and thought of Jean Vanier and the universal need for love, community, and companionship. The distributor has offered us discounted tickets for $10 (+ a small service fee)! Tickets can be purchased online.
