Kingdom come Sermon Series (June-July 2019)
This helpful resource will lead you through praying the Lord’s prayer.
PRAYER AND WORSHIP NIGHT: SUNDAY, JULY 21ST, 5PM - 6:30PM
Join us on Sunday July 21st as we gather for a special service to worship God and pray through the Lord’s prayer together. We’ll be meeting from 5pm to 6:30pm in the 2nd floor lounge.
MORNING PRAYER CALL: DAILY MONDAY JULY 29TH TO FRIDAY AUGUST 2ND, 7AM-8AM
Join us on this prayer call as we create space to start the day off with God! As we’ve been learning how Jesus teaches us to pray, we find that he instructs us to pray with others as part of how we experience our rooting and deepening in prayer. In these daily prayer calls, we’ll get to still ourselves before God, pray through a passage of scripture, and pray for one another’s needs. We hope this prayer call can help catalyze the practice of meeting with God at a regular time, and get us all into a rhythm with God. If you’re looking to renew your prayer life, this prayer practice is for you - whether you can join us for one day or every day this week.

LISTENING PRAYER WORKSHOP: SUNDAY, AUGUST 4TH, 1PM - 2:30PM
Interested in learning to hear better from God and developing your personal prayer life? This workshop provides instruction on conversational prayer (a form of prayer where you both speak to and listen to God). You’ll get a theological foundation, practical instruction on how to discern, and a chance to practice in a safe and supportive environment. Lunch will be provided. Please RSVP by contacting Denise at denise@hopechurchnyc.org so that we have a headcount for lunch and supplies. We'll be meeting in the first floor kids classroom.
HOW TO DISCERN GOD’S WILL CLASS: DATE TBA
As followers of Jesus, our desire is to know and follow God’s will. If you’re interested in learning how to develop your discernment and gaining some helpful teaching and tools for discernment, this class is for you! A pizza lunch will be provided.
